Israel to expand Jewish settlements in West Bank

(VOVWORLD) - Israel’s Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman has called for a meeting of its Supreme Planning Council next week to discuss widening Jewish settlement in the West Bank.

The meeting, scheduled for Monday, aims to approve new programs on planning and selling homes in the region. This is part of Lieberman’s policy to reinforce resettlements in Judea and Samaria.
