(VOVworld) – Cuba’ Journalist Association recently praised Vietnam’s renewal process with an article on its website entitled “Vietnam moves forward on its own path”, which stressed that Vietnam has become one of the strongest economies in Southeast Asia. The article said that with the renewal process that started in 1986, from a war-torn country, Vietnam has gained many achievements in economics and human development. The article attributed Vietnamese people’s industriousness and iron will to Vietnam’s significant achievements in various fields, especially in agriculture, industry, and service.

Argentina’s newspaper Nation or La Nacion featured an article highlighting Vietnam as a success symbol of economic development in Southeast Asia, with sharp increases in both exports and foreign direct investment. The article said that Vietnam, together with Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Thailand, is becoming an attractive industrial hub to investors with cheap and active labor force.
