The delegation included Party General Secretary and President To Lam, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung, National Assembly President Tran Thanh Man, Standing Member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat Tran Cam Tu, as well as incumbent and former Party and State leaders.
The leaders laid a wreath and paid their respects, expressing profound gratitude and remembrance for President Ho Chi Minh’s immense contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation.
On September 2, 1945, at Ba Dinh Square, President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence, proclaiming the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
