The pageant has also helped attract visitors, boost tourism-related services and raise the profile of Khanh Hoa as a global destination.
From August 20 to September 5, 111 contestants from all over the world explored local attractions, heritage sites, traditional craft villages, cultural traditions, and Khanh Hoa’s coastal and island landscapes.
The special art programme “Dances of the World – Hello Vietnam, Hello World” and the grand final drew large audiences.
Thai Thi Le Hang, Director of the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, is upbeat about Khanh Hoa’s capability to host global events.
“Miss World 2026 welcomed 111 contestants from countries and territories around the world, demonstrating the province’s strong appeal. With the contestants visiting and experiencing Khanh Hoa, the province’s image has been widely promoted through international media and the contestants themselves,” said Ms. Hang.
