Speaking at the opening ceremony, National Assembly Vice President Do Van Chien said the event provides a platform for honoring, preserving, and promoting traditional Mong culture.

“I firmly believe that ethnic communities, particularly the Mong people, will continue to promote self-reliance and resilience, strengthen solidarity, preserve their fine traditional customs, and strive alongside the rest of the country to confidently enter a new era of national development,” he said.

Throughout the festival, visitors can enjoy performances featuring the traditional Mong panpipe (khen), along with exhibitions, traditional craft demonstrations, culinary activities, sporting events, and folk games.

Some major activities will be centered at the Mong Ethnic Cultural Tourism Village in Quai To Commune, where festival goers can explore a traditional market, enjoy cultural exchanges and folk games, and discover community-based tourism and local cuisine and OCOP products.
