The project will support vulnerable groups and local government to minimize property and human losses due to adverse weather.
Vice President of the Vietnam Red Cross Society, Tran Quoc Hung, said more than 230,000 people will benefit from the project. “Phase two will focus on an inter-disciplinary approach to support community-based disaster preparedness. Schools, communities and local government will have their capacity improved while local social economic development plan will be integrated with disaster control activities”
