He made the remarks at a working session in Hanoi on Tuesday with leaders of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Vietnamese ambassadors and heads of overseas representative missions attending the 33rd Diplomatic Conference.
Chairman Man said the diplomatic sector has made significant contributions to the country’s achievements in recent years.
He noted that Vietnam has established diplomatic relations with 194 countries and developed comprehensive partnerships, strategic partnerships, and comprehensive strategic partnerships with many key partners, including all five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council.
According to the top legislator, these achievements have helped strengthen political trust, expand international cooperation, and deepen Vietnam’s international integration.
