Meeting with Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, the top Vietnamese legislator reiterated Vietnam’s consistent policy of treasuring strategic partnership with Singapore. She affirmed that Vietnam will work closely with Singapore to help the island state fulfill its missions as ASEAN Chair in 2018.

Prime Minister Lee noted that Singapore will do its utmost to settle pending issues within ASEAN during its term. He also proposed more direct flights between the two countries to boost trade and tourism.
