NA Chairwoman receives New Country Director of UNDP

(VOVWORLD) - National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan has spoken highly of the assistance by the United Nations and the UN Development Program towards Vietnam’s socio-economic success, which she said, help increase the country’s capability during global integration and boost its sustainable development.

While receiving new Country Director of the UNDP in Vietnam Caitlien Weisen on Wednesday in Hanoi, Ms. Ngan said she hoped the UNDP will continue to provide technical assistance for the Vietnamese National Assembly’s law building and oversight the implementation of the 2030 Agenda, as well as Vietnam’s efforts to respond to climate change and socio-economic development issues.
