In his closing remarks, National Assembly President Tran Thanh Man urged relevant agencies to urgently and fully incorporate the views agreed upon during the session and to finalize the agenda items, particularly the draft laws.
“I particularly emphasize the need to ensure coherence and consistency among draft laws, given the simultaneous amendment and supplementation of regulations that are directly interrelated. Each draft law must be viewed within the broader context of the legal system, effectively leveraging the results of the review of legal documents; overlapping or interconnected provisions must be meticulously scrutinized to ensure that amending one regulation does not create gaps, overlaps, or conflicting interpretations during enforcement,” Mr. Man said.
The top legislator added that regarding resolutions already adopted by the National Assembly Standing Committee, relevant agencies must urgently refine and thoroughly review them, then submit them to the NA President for certification immediately after the session to ensure timely promulgation. Implementation the 2027 law-making program must begin immediately, with the registration of draft laws for the program serving as a commitment by the agencies concerned, he said.
Earlier on Wednesday, the National Assembly Standing Committee deliberated on the draft Law on Bidding (amended) and the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Investment.
