The 17 days of meetings are divided into two phases: phase 1, from August 3 to the morning of August 13 and phase 2, from August 19 to 24.
Lawmakers are expected to review 33 agenda items during the special session, including the passage of 15 draft laws and four resolutions, initial deliberations on seven additional bills, and decisions on six major national issues.
National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man chaired a meeting on Sunday with parliamentary leaders and heads of provincial delegations to finalize the session’s priorities.
“This session should be marked not only by the laws passed, but also by the strengthened confidence, improved institutions, and new drivers of development opened up for the country. This is also the highest responsibility of the National Assembly to the Party, to the People, and to the future of the country,” Chairman Man said.
