Mr. Man stressed that the three expressways, the Bao Ha–Lai Chau Expressway, specifically the Bao Ha–Tan Phong section; the Quang Ngai–Kon Tum Expressway; and the Moc Chau–Son La–Dien Bien Expressway section running through Son La Province, carried significant political importance, which would promote socio-economic development across the regions. “The Government must take overall responsibility, while ministries and sectors must be accountable for matters within their respective areas of responsibility. Provincial authorities must take responsibility for land clearance, resettlement, construction materials and connecting roads. I urge the Economic and Financial Committee to finalize its official appraisal report and National Assembly bodies and the State Audit Office to begin oversight from the preparation stage.”

Mr. Man stressed that: “The National Assembly's approval of these investment policies is based on the people's trust. The Government and local authorities must honor that trust through quality, progress and transparency. We must move quickly, but never cut corners. Special mechanisms may be introduced, but there must be no special privileges. Projects must stay on schedule without causing losses or hardship for local residents.”

Also on Monday afternoon, the National Assembly Standing Committee reviewed special mechanisms and policies for tourism development, and the investment policy for the National Target Program on Drug and Crime Prevention and Control for 2026–2035.
