At this session, the Standing Committee will provide opinions on 27 draft laws and law-making matters. They include the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Securities; the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Accounting, the Law on Independent Audit; and the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Children, the Law on Persons with Disabilities, the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment, the Law on Pharmacy, and the Law on Population.
The Standing Committee will also review and adopt notable draft resolutions, such as the Resolution on the 2027 legislative program; the Resolution stipulating that inspection agencies may retain a portion of funds recovered or identified through inspections—after remittance to the State budget—to fund their operations and capacity building; and the Resolution on the protection regime for judges.
Regarding oversight activities, the Standing Committee will comment on the 2026 performance report and the proposed 2027 audit plan of the State Audit Office, as well as review the National Assembly's report on handling citizens' petitions for August 2026.
The National Assembly Standing Committee will also provide opinions on the proposal for the National Target Program on Crime Prevention and Control for the 2026–2030 period, with a vision to 2035.
