Deputy Secretary General of the National Assembly Le Bo Linh said after 26 days of meeting, the National Assembly adopted 6 laws, debated 9 draft laws, and approved 3 resolutions on the economy and state budget. The Q&A session was conducted in a frank and constructive manner with discussions between deputies and cabinet members.
Nguyen Hanh Phuc, National Assembly Secretary General and Chairman of the National Assembly Office, answered a question on extending the time needed to approve the revised Law on Anti-Corruption: “Many deputies suggested discussing the revised law throughout 3 sessions to ensure prudence and thoroughness, so as to make the fight against corruption more effective. The law should specify issues such as the confiscation of corrupted assets.”
