China's National People's Congress approves a number of key positions in the State Council on March 19, 2018.

Newly elected Vice Premiers include Hu Chunhua, Han Zheng, Sun Chunlan and Liu He. Mr. Wang Yi was reappointed as a State Councillor and Foreign Minister of China. Wei Fenghe was endorsed as Minister of national defense, while Yi Gang was appointed governor of the People's Bank of China.
