The event drew 500 delegates, including exemplary individuals recognized for their achievements and good deeds, winners of a writing contest celebrating good people and good deeds, and 130 recipients of the Outstanding Hanoi Citizen title between 2010 and 2025.
Associate Professor Dr. Huynh Quyet Thang, Vice President of Hanoi University of Science and Technology and one of the 10 honorees this year, said, “Having worked at Hanoi University of Science and Technology for nearly 30 years, I understand that these achievements are not the result of individual efforts alone.”
“They reflect the collective wisdom, dedication, and support of generations of staff, lecturers, colleagues, and students. This honor is not only a recognition of what we have achieved, but also a reminder of the responsibilities that lie ahead,” he said.
