He asked leaders to pay particular attention to socio-economic development, security and defense, as well as Party building and the fight against corruption. Mr. Trong made the remarks at a meeting in Hanoi on Tuesday in the presence of top leaders including Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan. He said Vietnam performed well in the celebration of major national events as well as in international relations during April and May.
