Speaking at the university’s opening ceremony for the new academic year on Tuesday, the Prime Minister said VNU HCMC must become a leading institution for identifying, developing, and attracting talented people.
“Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City should build a talent ecosystem nurturing outstanding school students, undergraduates, postgraduate students, doctoral candidates, young scientists, and leading experts, particularly in the fields of basic sciences and strategic technologies,” he noted.
At the ceremony, PM Hung presented gifts and commendations to people involved in locating and recovering the remains of fallen soldiers, including those using science and technology to support the effort.
