At a meeting with Kim Sampson, President of the Australia-Vietnam Friendship Association, during his official visit to Australia, Prime Minister Phuc asked the Society to promote cooperative programs on economics, trade, investment, culture, education, and people-to-people exchanges as the two countries have elevated ties to a Strategic Partnership. Mr. Phuc acknowledged the Society's support for Vietnamese people, especially victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin.
