The Prime Minister emphasized that given the challenges facing the Vietnamese economy amid the current regional and global context, ministries, sectors, and localities need to focus intensely on fine-tuning institutions. He stressed the need to carefully prepare for 24 draft laws and resolutions submitted to ongoing the first extraordinary session of the National Assembly and some 40 draft laws and resolutions at the year-end session of the legislature.

Simultaneously, strengthen direct dialogue with associations and business communities to review and address recommendations, create the most open and favorable investment and business environment for people and businesses to develop, PM Hung said.

To promote growth and maintain macroeconomic stability, the Prime Minister requested an assessment of the feasibility of achieving growth targets to adopt effective solutions.

“Accelerate the allocation and disbursement of public investment capital. I call on the deputy prime ministers and the ministries to directly oversee the disbursement of public investment capital. It’s necessary to urge localities to handle projects in a way that ensures implementation and 100% disbursement of the plan,” PM Hung added.

As the pressure to manage the economy in the current period is immense, the Prime Minister requested the State Bank of Vietnam to focus on implementing comprehensive solutions to stabilize interest rates, ensure liquidity for the economy, and maintain stability in the monetary and foreign exchange markets.
