Presiding over a Hanoi meeting with Chinese businesses investing in Vietnam, Prime Minister Hung said Vietnam is entering a new phase of development which is requiring a transformation of its growth model. The country aims for rapid and sustainable development and strives for double-digit growth based on macroeconomic stability, with science, technology, innovation, digital transformation, green transition, and enhanced labor productivity, he added.

PM Hung urged for close collaboration with Vietnamese companies to better leverage the potential, strengths, and complementarities of the two economies.

"I call on businesses from both countries to closely align with the major cooperation guidelines agreed upon by the high-level leadership of both Parties and nations, and to proactively propose and implement specific projects. It is essential to enhance investment quality, focusing primarily on increasing technological content and fostering innovation. I encourage Chinese companies to strengthen collaboration in research, development, and innovation within Vietnam; to partner with research institutes and universities in training high-quality human resources; and to share management expertise."

The Prime Minister emphasized that the Government of Vietnam will continue to listen to and support investors, safeguard their legitimate rights and interests, and create favorable conditions for businesses to achieve sustainable investment and operational success in Vietnam.
