Speaking at a working session with the Standing Board of the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee on Tuesday, PM Hung called the province to adopt new approaches to achieve economic growth of at least 11%. He suggested that Phu Tho make full use of its strengths in manufacturing, agriculture, trade, services, tourism, and logistics.

The PM stressed the need for a new mindset to attract major investors, especially in the high-tech sector. He said the province should avoid labor-intensive projects that rely on outdated technology and harm the environment.

"Our goal is to make Phu Tho Vietnam's industrial powerhouse, with growth driven by AI, semiconductors, logistics, and green energy," Mr. Hung said.

Earlier, the PM offered incense at the Phu Tho Martyrs' Memorial and visited 110-year-old Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Phuoc ahead of Vietnam's War Invalids and Martyrs Day on July 27.
