Before arriving in Hanoi, the Polish leader visited Da Nang, where he took part in several local activities beginning Friday.
According to Vietnamese Ambassador to Poland Ha Hoang Hai, PM Tusk’s visit is expected to promote substantive cooperation in economics, trade, and investment, while improving market access and addressing barriers to the flow of goods between the two countries.
The two sides also have an opportunity to expand cooperation in high-value-added sectors, including digital technology, green energy, quantum technology, and the training of highly skilled personnel.
Joanna Skoczek, Chargé d’Affaires of the Polish Embassy in Vietnam, said the visit aims to identify and reaffirm key areas with significant potential for bilateral cooperation, including education, trade, cooperation in international forums, culture, and people-to-people exchanges.
She added that several important documents are expected to be signed during the visit, helping strengthen the legal framework for bilateral relations.
