Attendees included Chair of the Commission for Publicity of the Party Committee Trinh Van Quyet, Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang, and Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung.

Held annually since 2016, "Star of Independence" has become a distinctive political-artistic program eagerly awaited every August.

Themed "Star of Independence–Aspiration for a Mighty Vietnam," the program, organized by the Ministry of Public Security and the Communist Review, comprised three acts. It linked the sacred, enduring values of independence and freedom with the Vietnamese nation's aspiration for prosperous, civilized, and happy development in the new era.

The program recreated the 81-year journey since that "Autumn of Independence," honoring the immense sacrifices and contributions of previous generations, who embody revolutionary ideals, faith, and righteousness. Their legacy serves as a guiding light forged in history and passed down through generations, now converging into the Vietnamese will, mettle, and intellect as the nation shapes its future.

During the event, the organizers presented meaningful gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, Heroes of the People's Armed Forces, relatives of martyrs, wounded soldiers, and individuals with meritorious services to the Revolution.
