Gifts will be given to heroic Vietnamese mothers, invalids, martyrs’ relatives, former war veterans who are affected by toxic chemicals and those who worship martyrs.
Nearly 2.5 million USD was raised for the Paying Debt of Gratitude Fund, the Hanoi Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs Department said on Tuesday. Next week, there will be numerous activities at national level marking the 70th Anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, including art exchanges and national conferences.
