The event was part of her trip to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Plus Summit and conduct bilateral activities in Kyrgyzstan.

Addressing the ceremony, Ms. Xuan highlighted President Ho Chi Minh’s great contributions and the deep affection and respect that the Vietnamese people have for him.

The bronze statue, weighing more than one tonne, is a replica of a bust of President Ho Chi Minh created by sculptor Tran Van Lam and currently displayed at the Ho Chi Minh Museum.

The statue is expected to become a new symbol of friendship between Vietnam and Kyrgyzstan, helping to enhance mutual understanding and promote people-to-people exchanges. Kyrgyzstan is the 53rd of the 56 countries visited by President Ho Chi Minh.
