President Ho Chi Minh’s birth anniversary celebrated

(VOVWORLD) -Ho Chi Minh city leaders on Saturday offered incense and flowers at the Ho Chi Minh Museum’s branch and Ho Chi Minh Statue to mark President Ho Chi Minh’s 128th birth anniversary (May 19). Former Party and State leaders and local people also attended the event.

A performance at the 2018 Sen village singing festival in Nghe An province marking the 128th birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19).

In Nghe An province, 20 local art troupes participated in a singing festival in Sen (Lotus) village, the birthplace of President HCM. Pham Tien Dung, Deputy Director of the provincial Department of Culture and Sports, said this is the first time the festival has been organized in President Ho’s house.

“The festival serves not only local residents but also visitors from across Vietnam and abroad. Visitors are happy to enjoy the performances,” Dung added.

President HCM’s birth anniversary was also commemorated in Laos, Chile, and France.
