Over the past 57 years, following his teachings, the Communist Party of Vietnam has remained closely connected with the people, steadfastly pursuing its highest goal of serving the interests of the people, the nation and the country. The Party has affirmed that the country’s development achievements are truly meaningful only when they translate into a more prosperous and happier life for the people.
Over 40 years of national renewal, the entire Party, people and armed forces have worked together to successfully accomplish the goals and tasks set out. Vietnam has maintained macroeconomic stability and sustained economic growth, while strengthening its economic potential, resilience and adaptability. These achievements have created an important foundation and greater room for faster and more sustainable development in the new revolutionary period.
Vietnam has emerged as a bright spot, earning international recognition for its safety and social stability, while making breakthroughs in thinking, vision and new approaches to leadership, governance and national development in the digital era.
Building on President Ho Chi Minh’s aspiration for a strong, prosperous and beautiful Vietnam, the 14th National Party Congress, held in January 2026, adopted a range of strategic and forward-looking decisions aimed at generating new momentum for the country to advance strongly and steadily in the new era of national rise.
