President Quang made the statement at a reception for You Quan, Secretary of Fujian Party Committee and Chairman of Fujian People's Congress and Yu Weiguo, Governor of Fujian province, in Fuzhou city on Saturday afternoon. The President suggested the Chinese province strengthen its import of Vietnamese products, including agricultural and forestry products and seafood, and open more air routes between the two sides, starting from the Xiamen-Ho Chi Minh city route.
Party Secretary You Quan said the Party Committee and administration of Fujian province attaches great importance to the friendship with Vietnam and wants to work with Vietnamese localities to implement the common perception of the two countries’ leaders to boost the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership between Vietnam and China.
After the reception, President Tran Dai Quang witnessed the signing of an agreement on establishing friendship and cooperation between Quang Ninh and Fujian province.
