Russia National Day celebrated in Ho Chi Minh City

(VOVWORLD) - Relations between Vietnam and Russia have developed strongly since the two countries formed a comprehensive strategic partnership in 2012, said Huynh Cach Mang, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, at a ceremony on Thursday to mark Russia National Day.

Popov Vladimirovich, Consul General to Ho Chi Minh City, said recent high-ranking visits demonstrate fine relations between the two countries.

He said he believes the coming visit to Russia of President Tran Dai Quang will improve their comprehensive strategic partnership and bring about new cooperation.
