Ushakov said Putin and Trump agreed on specific measures aimed at advancing efforts related to the conflict in Ukraine. However, only one side continues to abide by the understanding reached.

"Only one side is still adhering to the agreement," Ushakov said, without specifying which party he was referring to. He added that Moscow is not counting on the agreement being fully implemented, but is instead focused on achieving its strategic objectives and securing victory.

Ushakov noted that the West is mistaken in believing Russia can be defeated, and that Russian forces continue offensive operations along the front line in what Moscow calls its "special military operation" zone.
