US President Donald Trump arrived at the summit shortly after announcing a framework agreement with Iran aimed at ending a conflict that has lasted for more than three months.

Speaking to reporters, President Trump said that with progress made on the Iran issue, Washington would now devote greater attention to efforts related to the conflict in Ukraine.

On the sidelines of the summit, G7 leaders held talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

According to a French diplomatic source, G7 members reaffirmed their commitment to supporting Ukraine, including strengthening the country's air defense capabilities and enhancing measures to protect critical infrastructure.
