Seminar suggests climate change response models

(VOVWORLD) - A seminar on connecting organizations to help Mekong Delta farmers deal with natural disasters and climate change was held Wednesday in Ho Chi Minh City by the Vietnam Social Welfare Programme Fund, ActionAid Vietnam, and Bread for the World.

Models were suggested for dealing with floods and salinity intrusion. The Fund commissioned a smart phone app that lets women and children report natural disasters to agencies and receive alerts.
