The Straits Times and AsiaOne reported that political leaders and senior officials from Singapore and Vietnam will attend the dialogue on Tuesday to exchange views on governance, leadership development and public service transformation.

According to a press release issued by Singapore's Public Service Division (PSD) on Friday, Mr. Tu and Singapore’s Coordinating Minister for Public Services and Defense Minister Chan Chun Sing will co-chair the dialogue. The SVSD is jointly organized by the PSD and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam under the two countries’ Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

Mr. Tu and Mr. Chan will deliver opening remarks on the theme, “Towards a Resilient Future: Elevating Singapore-Vietnam Partnership for Technology and Capacity Building to New Heights”. The SVSD will include discussions on two sub-themes: Leading for Tomorrow: Developing Future-Ready Talent; and Building a New Model for Technology Cooperation: Towards a Shared Innovation Space.

A joint statement on the Singapore-Vietnam Technology Connectivity Strategy is also expected.

During the visit, Mr. Tu will separately meet with President Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Prime Minister Lawrence Wong, Speaker of Parliament Seah Kian Peng, and Senior Minister K. Shanmugam, according to PSD.
