“Businesses must nurture greater ambitions and proactively upgrade themselves. Micro-enterprises should strive to become small enterprises; small enterprises should grow into medium-sized ones; and medium-sized enterprises should aspire to become large corporations capable of expanding regionally and globally,” PM Hung said at a ceremony on Tuesday marking the 20th anniversary of the Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (VINASME).
“State policies and support from business associations are important, but they cannot replace the efforts of the business community itself,” he noted, adding that science and technology, innovation, digital transformation, green transition, and high-quality human resources must serve as key drivers for enhancing productivity.
The Prime Minister reaffirmed that the Government will continue to stand alongside businesses, protect their legitimate rights and interests, and foster a fair, transparent, and favorable investment environment.
He stressed that the Government remains committed to helping enterprises overcome challenges, seize new opportunities, and achieve further breakthroughs in their development.
