The samples, taken from unidentified martyrs’ graves at cemeteries across the city, were carefully sealed and packed in 100 specialized containers draped with the national flag. They will be handed over to the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology for analysis and identification.

The operation is part of ongoing efforts to search for, recover, and identify the remains of martyrs. It also reflects the deep sense of responsibility and gratitude of the authorities and people of Ho Chi Minh City toward those who sacrificed their lives in the former Saigon-Gia Dinh-Cho Lon area.
