A performance honors the ancestral land of the Hung Kings

14 art troupes performed at the Street Folk Art Festival featuring the folk belief of Hung Kings worship rituals, traditional festivals, historical sites and figures, local specialties, and current socio-economic development and integration.

Nguyen Thi Nhung is from Viet Tri city: “This is the first time that I had attended a street festival during the Hung Kings worship. We watch performances of Dao Xa elephant procession and wet rice cultivation. I take my children with me so they can learn more about traditional culture.”

The street festival was followed by a performance of traditional songs in praise of the Hung Kings’ merits and the ancestral land.
