US President Donald Trump on Monday threatened a military air strike against the administration of President Bashar al-Assad, declaring that Russia or any other country found to have responsibility in the suspected chemical weapon attack in Douma town, eastern Ghouta, last Saturday, would have to pay the price.
Russia has warned that military activities in Syria will lead to serious consequences and confirmed that information of the chemical attack in Douma was a fraud. At least 80 people were killed in the alleged chemical attack.
