In July 2026, the World Travel Awards announced the list of nominees for the Asian region, with Ta Xua and Ninh Binh being the two representatives from Vietnam.

Along the journey, visitors can also explore the legendary “Dinosaur Spine Ridge”, ancient Shan Tuyet tea plantations that are hundreds of years old, and villages where local Mong communities continue to preserve and promote their traditional cultural values, including weaving, indigo dyeing, and beeswax-based decorative patterns.
