In his opening remarks, Vice Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Hoang Minh Cuong said the city will continue refining special policies and mechanisms while expanding international cooperation in semiconductors, artificial intelligence, big data, smart logistics, and marine technology.
He also highlighted the important role of universities, research institutes, and businesses in strengthening the local innovation ecosystem.
“Politburo Resolution 57 is not only a development orientation but also an opportunity for Hai Phong to make a breakthrough, transform its growth model, and build an economy driven by knowledge, technology, and innovation. The city has implemented the resolution effectively and issued 6 resolutions and 4 decisions to unlock all available resources for development,” said Mr. Cuong.
The two-day event features the ‘5 Tech Ports’ exhibition, showcasing more than 1,000 products from over 200 enterprises. Exhibits include semiconductors, AI applications, robotics, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), industrial Internet of Things (IoT) solutions, and green energy technologies.
Visitors can also explore innovations in electric vehicles, next-generation batteries, and a range of “Made in Hai Phong” and “Made in Vietnam” products, including OCOP products integrated with blockchain and AI technologies.
