The Da Nang People's Committee said that during a meeting with city leaders, TechX Corporation and Xbrain proposed a strategic partnership centered on several key initiatives. These include the Da Nang cross-border-commerce hub, an Agentic AI Factory, an AI talent training center, a cloud operation center, and a regional AI research center for the public sector.
Under the proposal, Da Nang would become the cross-border e-commerce gateway for central Vietnam, connecting local businesses with international markets through the Amazon Global Selling platform while developing a logistics ecosystem to support digital exports.
The investors have expressed their ambition to build the first industrial-scale AI factory in central Vietnam, powered by the Amazon Web Services platform. The facility would focus on developing AI agents for applications in finance and banking, IT operations, and public services. The projects are expected to create around 1,000 high-quality technology jobs by 2028.
