The festival brought together 3,000 artists and performers, 100 artisans, and art troupes from Vietnam, South Korea, Japan, and India, and attracted 250,000 visitors.
Events held at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel, the Temple of Literature, the Hanoi Museum, Bat Trang pottery village, and venues around Hoan Kiem Lake, linked heritage with contemporary art.
“The programs combined traditional and contemporary elements, creating a blend of heritage and modernity, connecting generations, and creating a flow from the past to today’s younger generation,” said an attendee.
Another said, “The innovations have given traditional arts a fresh appeal and helped bring them to a wider audience. The program was very professionally produced, with everything from the lighting and music to the performances carefully put together.”
