According to Hau A Lenh, Party Secretary of the Tuyen Quang provincial Party Committee, the Festival will center on people and its activities will reflect the care of the Party, State, and society toward children in remote, border, and ethnic minority regions.

There will be a display of agricultural and OCOP products, craft villages linked with tourism, a food and beer space, the 2026 Tuyen Quang Marathon (themed "Tuyen Quang – Where Beauty Converges"), and the 4th Tuyen Quang Motorcycle Show.

First held in 2004, the Thanh Tuyen Festival was upgraded to a provincial festival for Tuyen Quang in 2014. The Festival was recognized by the Vietnam Guinness Book of Records for having the most unique and the largest Mid-Autumn lanterns in Vietnam, the largest Mid-Autumn feast tray in Vietnam, and the largest pair of lanterns in Vietnam.
