At a meeting with representatives of the Canadian Vietnamese Scientists and Experts Association (CVSEA) on Friday (local time), the top leader urged experts to continue offering recommendations, transferring technology, and connecting resources, focusing on Vietnam's priority areas such as AI, semiconductors, quantum technology, clean energy, digital transformation, and high-quality human resource development.

The meeting was attended by more than 20 experts and intellectuals in artificial intelligence (AI), semiconductors, cybersecurity, 5G/6G technology, start-ups and innovation, energy, strategic minerals, urban infrastructure, data and unmanned aircraft.

General Secretary and President Lam pledged a favorable environment for overseas Vietnamese intellectuals to contribute to national development through appropriate means.
