Addressing the congress, the top leader urged members of the association to improve themselves and study President Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality, working methods and style, as well as his "Six Teachings" to the People's Public Security forces.

Mr. Lam called on each member to set an example in their local community for younger generations to follow.

The congress elected a 61-member Executive Committee for the 2026–2031 term. Senior Lieutenant General Le Quy Vuong is re-elected Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Veteral People's Public Security Officers for the new term.
