The Party leader noted that the committee has been restructured and consolidated under a new mechanism, marking a transition to a new leadership and coordination model with a broader vision, higher requirements, greater synchronization, and clearer accountability.
He said: "The new approach is to place judicial reform within a unified rule-of-law framework: building sound laws, ensuring strict law enforcement, maintaining an upright judiciary, safeguarding justice, controlling power, protecting human and citizens’ rights, and serving national development through a transparent, effective and seamless institutional system. Judicial reform in the new era is not just about reforming judicial bodies, but about enhancing the operation of a law-governed state; not just about handling cases, but about protecting justice and building public trust; not just about meeting professional targets, but about serving the people, supporting development, and safeguarding the nation’s future through law and justice."
He also called for continued implementation of the Party’s guidelines on judicial reform and the building of a socialist rule-of-law state, while further improving institutions, law enforcement, and the performance of judicial agencies.
