Following the ceremony, the two leaders held talks and witnessed the exchange of cooperation documents between Vietnam and Panama covering areas such as maritime transport, combating transnational crime, agriculture, tourism, customs, aviation, and maritime affairs.
The same day, President Mulino and his wife paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his Mausoleum and laid a wreath at the Monument to Heroes and Martyrs in Hanoi.
