Loong Luong, once a "hot spot" of drug-related crimes in the northwest region, has now become a peaceful area with socio-economic development and increasingly improved living standards for its people.

Here, the General Secretary and President urged Party committees and authorities at all levels to continue to leverage the strength of the people, link the national security protection movement with socio-economic development, and build Van Ho into a model commune in terms of security and order, aiming for "no drugs, no crime, no social evils".

The top leader requested the police force to keep proactively monitoring the situation, effectively combating crime, especially drug-related crimes, and maintaining a peaceful environment for the people to develop production and improve their living standards.

On the occasion, Party General Secretary and State President To Lam presented gifts to outstanding collectives and individuals, policy beneficiary families, and households in difficult circumstances.
