Receiving President of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Masato Kanda, General Secretary and President Lam expressed his hope that the ADB would continue to support Vietnam in promoting sustainable economic growth, enhancing the competitiveness of the economy, and strengthening its resilience to global challenges. Vietnam welcomed the ADB's increased commitment to supporting long-term development priorities and enhancing the resilience of Southeast Asia, he added.

At a meeting with President and CEO of Aboitiz Foods Tristan Aboitiz, General Secretary and President Lam said the company’s interest in expanding investment in Vietnam contributes to adding another channel of substantive economic cooperation. Vietnam encourages the company to implement cooperation models to promote green and smart agriculture, sustainable food value chains, and food security in the ASEAN region, according to the Vietnamese top leader.

Meeting with Chin Yin Ong, Chief Organization Capability Officer at Grab, General Secretary and President Lam called on Grab to apply more advanced science and technology to provide better services to customers and invest in public transportation systems. He pledged support for the corporation's development orientation in Vietnam, such as strengthening tourism development through technology, supporting drivers to switch to electric vehicles, investing in shared charging station systems, and connecting operations with other public transportation in Vietnam more flexibly.

At a meeting with Saia Ma’u Piukala, Regional Director for the Western Pacific of the World Health Organization (WHO), General Secretary and President Lam expressed his hope that WHO would continue to support Vietnam in improving the effectiveness of policy development and organizing the health system to suit the new context. He underlined the need to improve capacity to respond to future health emergencies and propose that the WHO promote traditional medicine alongside modern medicine to increase resources and methods in caring for and protecting people's health.
