Speaking to the press on Saturday, Minister Trung said that, in addition to strengthening mutual understanding and consolidating political ties, the leaders of Vietnam, Russia and France held in-depth discussions and reached broad consensus on effectively implementing agreements in such areas as economics, trade, investment, science and technology, and education and training.

These discussions, he noted, will help open up new avenues for cooperation between Vietnam and the two countries in the years ahead.

As a member of the United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (COPUOS), Vietnam seeks to strengthen cooperation with fellow member states, including Russia and France, and contribute to the peaceful use of outer space for sustainable development.
